Dave's answer will work, but consider it a last resort, as it's a pain in the backside having to back up your data, wipe your system, reinstall Windows, drivers, updates programs, import data etc.

Some good instructions here but it might not work as these infections usually stop you from doing anyhting, apart from being able to pay for it by credit card :cussing:

If that doesn't work, restart your computer.

As soon as the screen shows the BIOS text, tap the F8 key. If you get a boot options screen, press the Esc key, then tap the F5 key.

You should get a menu with various options. Select Safe Mode with networking using the arrow keys and press enter.

Once loaded, open your browser and download Malwarebytes Antimalware.

Update it and run a scan.

Once it's finished, click Show results, then Remove selected.

Reboot when prompted and see how it goes.
