Hi teddy!
Your only other bet, altho it will be a trade off between protection, and colour, is either Dulux Weathersheild stains, or Seikens.
Personally, I would stick with the Dannish oil, or even Teak oil.
Just a thought, have you try'd mixing some wood dye in with the oil? one of the Ronseal ones? as they are liquid, the colour is easly contold.
This would give you some UV protection, but a lot does depend on personal choise. |

Unfortunatly ......NO! but if you can get some colour in the wood, that will help, otherwise, it's the thicker coatings such as Dulux.
Sorry |

Hi teddy,
Just a thought mate, try teak oil  this will give you the same finish as the danish but also give you uv protection and protect against mildew. It is used mainly on boats (above the water line) so you can get that at all good marine stockists. If you live inland then try Superior Danish Oil made by Liberon. they do one with added UV protection I have inc a link for you. Good luck.
