A friend of mine pointed me to this forum because I am currently doing up a house for myself. Bits and pieces of many tasks, so far excelling at knocking holes in things but not so good at putting things back together!

My next job will be tiling a bathroom wall, I am using white ceramic 6 inch tiles and a proprietary adhesive and i have purchased a basic tanking lit for round the bath (and shower over) area. But it is satin paint over old plaster and plasterboards and seems to peel so I am scratching it and sanding a bit. Will post in tiling section when I start. I am sure I will be coming back for advice a lot over next year! Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome from me too. :welcome:

You've come to the right place and if you are doing up an house you'll possibly be at it forever; Bron and I have lived in our bungalow for 29 years and we still can't get on top of all the jobs; each year I say to Bron next year will be a lot easier because I'm now on top of the heavy work but here I am into heavy steel erecting. Good luck with yours and may the force be with you. :thumbleft:

Kind regards, Col.
