Would really appreciate some advice....we recently replaced a NEFF hobb for a SAMSUNG C61R2AEE which had lots of good reviews. Our old hobb had simple knobs for controlling the temperature but this one has touch sensitive buttons.

The first issue is that the touch sensitive control panel gets very hot when all four rings are on. However, the main problem is that sometimes the halogen bulbs seem to come on and off a lot faster and water in the saucepans does not boil, which makes us think the rings are not reaching the correct temperature. Have discovered tonight that this is happening when the oven below the hobb is also being used. I am wondering now whether heat from the top of the oven is affecting the hobb - maybe the hobb thinks the rings are at temperature and are prematurely cutting off the halogen bulb - never had a problem like this with the old hobb that needed the same rating supply.

I wonder if anybody else might have this hobb and whether you have had any similar problems. I am not sure whether it is possible to insulate the top of the oven or whether we should just call somebody out to check the hobb.

Many thanks
