Thanks Guys.

Had a shiiiit day yesterday.
Had a bit of lunch at home then fancied a liquid lunch to wash it down. But I must have a problem in my stomach with pastry and bread because lunch (the food) just stuck above my stomach for half an hour then I threw up everything I ate yesterday and felt lousy. Must be old age, (will see what Scruff says :-) :-) ). Went to bed and slept it off with a couple of tablets.

Felt much better today so we went to pick up the wife's new glasses at Specsavers and I had booked myself in for an eye test followed by an hearing test.
The eye test was great, no change from 3 years ago and so my varifocals don't need replacing "unless you want to for cosmetic reasons".
Are you saying my Nike specs look old?
"Oh no sir!"
So that save me about £70+

Then the hearing test. "What you saying?"
Apparently my hearing is defective at hearing the higher tones, like female voices. Which I knew about, but I referred to it as 'selective deafness'.
Two new hearing aids to cover the defects would set me back £1295 to £1495.
Am going in in a fortnight to try a pair that he will have programmed to fix my problem, but not necessarily to buy them.
So I am fixing an appointment with my GP to get referred to an Audiologist for a NHS hearing test and a couple of hearing aids on the NHS Thank you.

Anyway, on the way back, the Manager got off the bus to go home and I went into Garstang for the lunch that I missed yesterday.
So Happy Beleated Birthday to Me.

Thanks again Guys and hope I haven't bored you with my report.
