Hi Everyone
As there are a few handymen on here please could you tell me who you get your insurance through?
Mine is up for renewal and have just found out that for the past three years i have not been covered for everything a handyman does, the company does not give a Handyman option and only allow three trades to be included in the policy plus their excess is fairly high.

Thanks
Jason

thanks wine~o
did you have any problems with what a companies definition of property maintenance is. As after being on the phone to a few companies today it seems that you are not even allowed to go near a dripping tap as this is classed as major plumbing!! :wtf:

mine is with Fortis and pay about £140 a year - I had to ask them to change the height I am allowed to work at, they did put something silly like 5m.
