I've got a Halfords 'Professional' range socket set (1/2") and it's been excellent over the 12 years I've had it!

I have some halfords professional tools as they have a lifetime guarantee, but the set on special offer just seems to be from the standard range :cb

I have that kit , i keep it in the car,fairly good for basic repairs.

I havnt bought any sets with metric and imperial for a long time, infact i dont think i even own imperial sockets now, havn't missed them.
Spanners i different, to compensate for pipe fittings etc.
