Finally finished tiling new bathroom and have had to box in the soil pipe behind the pan. This has to be removable for access to pipes so I've tiled onto plywood sections. My question is what do I use for the joints to make this look like it isn't removable? I was thinking of decorator's caulk maybe for the surrounds. Would grout be o.k in between the tiles on the plywood? Thanks, Mark. |

FWIW, I have always used white silicone for this purpose and it is never noticable.
Then you use a sharp knife to cut the silcone to release and get access, do the neccessary and then clean old silicone off and apply new silicone _________________ I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose. |
