I have just done my gravel drive. It is 260 m2 and I used a 10-20 mm angular hard limestone.

It sits 50mm thick on a 8" sub base of mot type 1.

It has been vibrated and rollered and generally I am very happy with it, however as my drive is an in and out, where we turn we are starting to see ever so slight movement.

I did consider coregravel but due to the cost I figured I would save my £5000 and only spend £1000 on be gravel.

I don't regret no buying the core gravel stabiliser but am wondering if there is any way to firm up the gravel further to prevent future rutting?

I went out the other morning after a heavy frost and the drive way solid. This got me thinking that there must be a way to glue/bond the gravel so it doesn't move?

Could there be a resin spray that would glue or set the gravel in place???

Thanks
Mark

I dont think you will find anything to glue the gravel together.
50mm is a bit deep for topping stones, if you had cut the depth down it might not have moved so much, best to rake it out level every now and then.

There are epoxy products available for laying/bonding gravel, I know nothing about them other than that they exist.

Can anybody point me in the direction of a good epoxy product for use on an existing driveway?

Don't bother it's gonna be a lot more expensive than the stabiliser. It's called Resin Bonded. It's where the gravel is mixed with an epoxy and then laid.
