Hi all
Iwas considering registering with select or niceice however it would appear that you are required to prove that you seved an apprentice ship to be awarded a grade card I cannot prove this as we are talking 1965/ 70 and my employer at the time was a burgh council which has undergone several metamophasis since then so getting employment confirmation is not possible I have kept my training up to date as far as is practicable 16th then recently 17th insp and test H+S but it seems that there is no way round this any ides anyone, it may well be that I am interpreting the infomation I am getting wrongly, the reasons I am seeking this is due to the wat the Scottish buliding regs are being interpreted in my area requiring every form you complete to be signed by an approved electrician, most work I do is not subject to building control but on occasions this may well be the case

What sort of electrical work would you find yourself doing?
Have you contacted any of the other scheme providers.
Is it full or define scope you need?
I wasn't aware they asked for apps experience, was only interested in qualification to a level 3 standard and give either 12 or 18 month to attain them.
