Just a heads-up for all youi computer users.

If, when doing a Google search, you get a yellow banner at the top of the search results telling you that your computer has a virus, it most likely has.

Google to warn PC virus victims via search site

I posted this here because not everyone looks in on the Computer Forums.
BUT
If you do get the banner warning, post the problem in the Computer Forum and we will try to help clean your computer.

errrrr.... just what technique are google using to actually discover a virus on 'my' PC? If they have the ability to seach my HDD without my knowledge then something is seriously amiss.......

<edit>

of course, checking your LINK actually reveals all ::b

Hi Dave,
as you said, reading the link explains it, Google don't scan your computer, they sense what is being sent from it when it shouldn't be.
