I started on the road to hell, but saw the light (ale)

Seriously though, I probably still drink more than some, but nowhere near the stupid amounts that I did a few years back..... I now hate pub atmosphere.... I have fantasied about how quick the boozer would clear with one barrel into the ceiling and another at the punters.

TIME FOR ME TO QUIT...

the key is ' moderation' knowing when to stop is also important, nobody likes a drunk, so when i've had enough, I hit the road, sometimes literally
there are only 3 types of people.
1. a non drinker
2. a controlled alkie
3. an uncontrolled alkie
I fall into the 2nd category :help:

Aye, I certainly enjoy a good drink but I know my limitations.
Haven't throw up or passed out in a good few years, well, not from being drunk anyway. Hangovers on the other hand, it seems as I get older they get worse and worse. Shouldn't have started so young :puke:

I've an answer to that...stay drunk...you'll still get the odd hangover...

But you won't care..

Funny you should say that, I went to Reading festival a couple of weeks back, did the early bird so it was 5 days.
Didn't stop drinking from wednesday morning til monday morning, we were drinking happily til 5-6am every night then getting up about half 8, getting a bacon roll and carrying on, no hangovers from being so drunk. The only thing keeping me awake by the end was pro plus, had a monster of a hangover on the monday after a nice 6 hour sleep, dear god. But at that point the natural thing to do was get everyone down the pub for a mixed grill and hair of the dog

The joys of being young and daft

Enjoy a pint and another whilst you can.

We cannot foretell the future and you might end up like me with kidneys that don't work. I can never have a pint again, ever in my lifetime. Were I to do so the excess fluid would be extracted from me the hard way; I don't like to think about it.

So enjoy that pint. :occasion5:

Not drinking, it was high blood pressure.

Baza, you live in Biggin Hill, people up there take shooters to the pub like Yorkshiremen take whippets. Nobody would even blink if you let off a couple of rounds.
