You can't generally uninstall or hide the apps which come pre-installed, they're always going to show up on your apps list screen.

What you can do is to put all the ones you are going to use onto your home screens so you're finding them from there and rarely having to go to the full list.

If it's the home screen (when you unlock your phone - the main page), then you can remove the SHORTCUTS to the apps and put what you want there. Think of it like your home PC and the shortcuts on your desktop, taskbar.

Long press and drag it to the bin at the top. That doesn't uninstall them from the phone, just removes them home screen quick access links.

In the app tray, all of the installed apps will be shown, all the time. Think of this being like the start menu on your PC.....it's where everything is listed (yes, yes...I know you can accidentally remove them, them go with this.....).

If you CAN uninstall an app, you can do so by going: app tray > settings > apps

Find the app you don't want, click uninstall.

Might not be able to remove them all. Some are baked into the ROM....it's how they make the phone image and sometimes how the subsidise the low cost handsets. Letting you remove the things that make them money (services), doesn't make sense to them.......

I'm not a big fan of Samsung or those who 'skin' the handset massively. I'd rather pay the 250 and get a Nexus 5 or even one of the new One plus ones - mega phone for the cash and none of the hassle/problems of the builds with the lower spec'd phones.

Is a contract phone BA, completely new??

Got to say, I'm not a fan of the low end Samsung's at all.....they are enough to put you off smart phones before you've even began!!!

i am not bothered about anything on the phone apart from the camera and maybe the alarm

it keeps downloading updates for all the things i dont want
the main thing is i only find things by accident so in the process often bu66er things up :dunno:

i dont have a clue where my page is but i find it eventually
