It's normally a simple job, once the paper is wet and ready to be scraped off the wall, all you need to do is to rinse the wall with warm or hot water before the paste dry's again.
The best stuff to use is Zinsser DIF, if you caint get this, then either a spot of washing up liquid in the water or fabric conditioner.
Any of these will have the effect of making the water 'wetter' sounds silly I know, but it's true.
So there you go, soak, scrape off, rinse with clean hot water as you go. _________________ I'm not a roman mum, I'm a kike, a yid, a heebie, a hook-nose, I'm kosher mum, I'm a Red Sea pedestrian, and proud of it! |

I find the best way for me is to strip the paper off, get a small stiff hand brush and brush down and bits of paper that is still left behin, then get your scraper and scrape as much of the paste slime as you can.
Mis up a solution of Suagar soap, wash the walls, then rinse with plain warm water, when dry, paint as normal. _________________ When I first met my Mr Right, I didnt realise his first name was Always. |

Those green scotch bright scourering cloths that are for women when they wash up are very good..plenty of hot water and detergent..then rinse with clean stuff
Personally id rather line the walls its quicker. _________________ '''No one likes us...we dont care!''' |
