Hi

I'm looking to fit a new carpet in a hallway and on a staircase. I have seen gel backed carpet being advertised as very hard wearing but have never come across it before. Says it is ideal for domestic and commercial use.

What i want to know is...can it be fitted in a standard way with grippers/tacks..or because of the gel backing, can it only be stuck down with adhesive?

Thanks in advance for any help

Why not ask the place who supply the carpet what they suggest.?
If a person on a forums says yes, and they say no.............
