Hello again.
Could anyone please offer confirmation on the following?

Up and over garage doors come in canopy or retractable types.

Does a retractable door assy require the usual vertical wooden frame
or could it be fitted direct to the brickwork if the dimensions were
compatible?

Ours is fitted direct to breezeblock. That's all I know. Never fitted one sooo....
