just board it then. i would still use vapour board to be safe and check for cross joist airflow.

a cheaper way is to drill 3/4" holes along the centre of the joists. this will not weaken the joists and it will sort out the crossflow. just make sure you have vents front and back.

That sounds like a good idea, what something like 2 or 3 holes in each joists or something? I have a vent at the front but at the backthere is a untility roof and the joist going the other way to the main garage and there is no vent there. What is the best way to put a vent in?
