Had some issues today with fuel cards....

Is there one that will cover the majority of garages?

They all seem to do seperate ones for their own garages, BP, Texaco....

Our main one is Key Fuels, but seems to be less and less places accepting it

it is not quite the same thing, but could be of interest ....

Picked up a flyer for a Shell Credit Card - they give you 3p a litre back on shell fuel and for a soft time it is 6p a litre.
Maybe have a company Shell card for fuel purchases?

last 3 firms i've worked for have used Allstar, present one uses Red (fuel card not diesel )

Our company use BP but it's also an allstar card ( as V.I. said)They say it is accepted at 98% of garages??

if you want to send me your fuel cards, I will drive round filling up at stations round here and report back

Last fuel card I had was Allstar actually - but about 20 years ago

When I had a company car I had an Allstar card, I found I could use it anywhere. I used to drive from London to Hull, Grimsby, Cardiff and Southampton on a regular basis.

I got rid of the company fuel card when the tax went through the roof on private use

I must have passed about 4 before getting low, none of which took the cards i had. By which time fuel guage is showing empty and im on the M1

Best to shop around, because you can definitely save money with the right one.

I think the All star is one of the best.
