your old tellies and videos will still work on freeveiw providing you have a freeveiw box per seperate channel you want to watch and record at the same time
in other words if you want to record a video and watch another chanel on the telly you need 2 freeveiw boxes you also need a freeveiw compatable ariel orientated towards your local transmitter
iff you have 2 videos and want to record 2 channels you need 3 freeveiw boxes including the tv one

when the switch off or changeover happens your old equipment will still work normaly providing as above you have a freeveiw box or digital recorder[electronic video equivlent without the tapes]

Videos? VIDEOs? Who the f**k still uses videos?

Alice?

Good points though... switch-over is getting closer every day. Mind, I suspect many, many people are either cable or Sky-capable. Maybe we should run a poll to see who has what? Just curious.

Switched over a while back round here.

Freeview box in the Livingroom, another in the Bedroom, and a new TV with it built in for the Sunroom.

Telly is 99% crap.

In the summer no-one is watching so they put on crap.

In the winter everyone is watching so they put on crap.

Just my theory. :B
