i salvaged about 30 lab desks from mrs O's school (she's a science teacher), sold most of the tops (Iroko i think) on ebay and kept a few for myself for a workbench in the workshop Thumbright

Also the legs were beech, which also went on ebay. I thought it was unbelievable that the school were happy to just chuck it in a skip, it would have been such a waste.
