There are a lot of different tools for this. How much work will be done, how heavy of work load, types of wood used, etc.

One place you can check these tools out is called the www.toolbarn.com

From what I understand they have all kinds of tools to chose from.

mac they all have different merits. i, like tim prefere the passy but that is because it suits what i do. i tend to use it for roofing, studwork, fencing type thing. sometimes i will just get it out to throw 20 nails in a quick job like bocking up a doorway. this is what the passy is good for as it is quick to set up. no dragging your compressor out and juicing it up and having the mither of a hose, especially on roofwork.
is more expensive on nails but priced into the job it is not a problem for me.
if you are doing large contracts like shopfitting etc then it isnt a problem setting up the compressor once and then it is done.
horses for courses.
let us know what you decide and if you get one please give us a review for future reference Thumbright
