Anyone tried these instead of mirka abranet 70 x 125mm for example? Loads cheaper but don't know how good they are...

Not tried them but thanks for heads up! I'm still working my way though the stuff I got with my deros.

I bid £75 and it was accepted. Individual prices would have been £240 so I'm well chuffed. Free delivery. Turned up today all perfect.

Was it one of their sample cards?

They sent me some through but I still wasn't that impressed. I quite like the gold ones Mirka do at half the price of Abranet.

Yeah, a couple of 125 and 150 in 80 & 180 grit. To be honest, I still haven't got through the boxes I got free with the Deros, and it's almost 2 years old!

I'll give them a whirl, and let you know how I find them.

Says on sample card from £6 plus vat for a box of 30.

The first lot they did were terrible and they got recalled. Then came up with these.

Just used the evomesh on a job. Walls were previously painted in soft sheen but there are lots of tiny cracks so I'm preparing for lining and painting.

Started with the P180 which was ok and flattened down the orange peel, and finished the last bit with the P80.

Both were fine for the surface prep until I found a few underlying trowel marks and bumps in the plaster. Neither sanded back as well as the Mirka equivalent.

At that price they're worth having in your kit though.

Just had a look at prices and agree that at those prices they are worth having. Must give them another go.
