I left the old battery with the guy at the motor factors, i took him at his word when he said it was shot. He put on his tester and it showed about 3V, of course if the battery wasn't charging that might be why. Is there a point of no return with a battery when it getsso low? Might go grab the battery back of him and keep it as a spare if there's a chance it will recharge?


Probably not worth it if it's that low on Voltage...

and he's probably allowed for the scrappage in the price he charged...

When I replaced the battery on my Focus a year or so ago I think it cost all of £44 .. delivered..

I'm sure I posted a thread about it ???

Good work on that, is that a diesel battery? You know how it is though wine~o, sh1t never does wait for a good time to hit the fan!
