What would you expect to pay for a head gasket replaced and skimmed, with a new cam belt, know ive had a good deal but just wanna see what you fellas reckon!

The car is a stop gap and is gonna be for my little sister as a starter car otherwise i would of sent it to the crusher!

I'd guess (at todays rates) at around £600

about £5-600 worth.about 4-5 hours lab

Id estimate about 200 worth of labour, (obviously small independant prices) About £50 for the skim, and about £200 for the parts once theyve put their cut on....plus a bit of the ol VAT, £500+....

You could buy a fully working one cheaper ill bet.
