I have an Ideal cisterm on my toilet with a single push button operation.
The push button remains in the down position and will not return up.
When dismantling I can not see what would actually give any return torque for the push button mechanism, the metal chord and will push forward...but what makes it return to it's original position?? There is no spring that I can see
I have attached photos including one from an instruction set where it seems to show something at the end of the screw thread of the button.
Mine has nothing at this point, just the open bottom of the plastic screw thread.
I attach photos...
Thanks in advance
