Went for our flu jabs yesterday as we are both pensioners and I have COPD and stomach cancer, so we are on the GP's list of priority patients.
Called in Asda at Fulwood and their pharmacy are doing them at £7

Cheap as chips, cheaper than a prescription.

£7 at Asda - prescriptions are free :huray:

While your getting your flu jab ask about pneumococcal disease too (I havent a clue what that means but my mum gave me a "Flu & You" T-shirt the other day and it says that on the back!)

My mum works in a doctors so I end up with a load of freebies (got tons of pens!)

Last weekend I was off to a lads birthday party and my mum called round and dropped off the Flu & You T-shirts and I asked her to drop me off there on her way home. Nipped in the shower and asked her to throw up one of those T-shirts, she said "Your not really going to wear that to a party are you?". My reply "It's clean and uncreased - sorted!"

They once came round all the offices offering the flu jab, years back. I was the only person who didn't take them up on the offer. I was also one of the few people who didn't get flu that year!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :?

I don't think bugs/germs can interact with my physiology.....I'm 97% alchohol. I'll be preserved for years to come.....

:salute:
