I am making a building and wanted the floor to be at ground level, is this possible? I noticed lots of building floors are generally 150mm above. I also was aiming at 150mm compacted hardcore, 50mm sand, 1200 dpm, 100 mm insulation ( which insulation would you recommend), 500 g separation layer (is this needed?), 100m concrete slab, 60 mm screed.

Yhank you in advance

Its always best to get the finish floor level at leastv 150mm above ground level, you don't really need 50mm of sand, only enough to blind out the hardcore.
Most of insulation is much the same, there's a shortage on at the moment, try 2nds and co.partial damage boards but usable.
Fit the second layer of visqueen.
