Please can someone advise on this ?
We have had a new extension out the back of my house and my builder has put half lead and half flash band.

We are a bit concerned that this will not last long.
The drainage pipe is running the water beside it and is also attached to my neighbours roof.

Any suggestions ?

Many Thanks

That's a total bodge. It needs doing properly in lead,no question.
If they've bodged that what else have the bodged??
Flashband is a temporary fix until you can do the job properly, used in emergency situations or a patch up in winter until the better weather where a proper job can be done.
Any pro would not leave that job I can assure you.

Carpentry,I can explain it to you but I cannot understand it for you.

the new roof has a difrent pitch to the neighbors roof pitch. the join is weird, probly because of the difrent pitches, an doesnt seem to have soakers. at the abutment an angle fillet should be used because the laths were set out short an youve been left with a trough.
the down pipe looks hokey an lower down the parapet flashing doesnt look right.

That's a total bodge, I take it you went with the cheapest quote from one of our eastern European friends, did building control even pass the work ?

imho redo the whole roof and set the pitch correctly, I hope that doesn't cause issue for you neighbour
