Hi i had to render a bit of a chalk wall to get it even. will i be able to screw into this to fix the door frame, it wont be too hard will it.

any thoughts will be greatly appreciated

Hi Simon,

With the correct power drill and the correct drill bit, you can drill into almost anything!

Thank you thats good to know. I also wonderd if it might crack and fall off the chalk though, i am a total novice D.I.Yer. The chalk wall had some big gaps in and the render is about 2-3 inches thick in places.

Hi Simon,

Unsure what you mean by a 'chalk wall', if you start slowly through the render, and then speed up as you hit the harder surface! You can even drill the render without using 'hammer' on the drill!
