I have a sealed system, boiler is a combi Trianco. I am only using the boiler for central heating not hot water (if anything goes wrong and it stops working I still want hot water at least). Situated under the boiler lid/top there is one flow pipe with the pump, pressure release valve and pressure gauge (all factory fitted) and on either side of the boiler 2 flow and return points (making 4 plus the 1 with the pump which is a total of 5 points).
1. Where do I install the filling loop - on the return piping or this one piece flow pipe where is the pressure gauge and release valve?
2. It says in the manual that these other 4 points are flow and return but doesn't identify whether the top is flow and the bottom return or it doesn't matter. Only that if you only use two of them then they should be diagonal to one another on the boiler. In my case I will use the factory fitted flow and only one return from the radiators (which means 3 points I will cap off) - but should the flow go to the bottom point or any of the 4?
Hope you can answer this if it's clear. |

I think you had better post a pic or drawing of the layout, together with the boiler model _________________ Scruff |
