Hello all,
We are doing up the bathroom and have removed the old fittings (loo roll holder etc) to replace with new ones but now have a few holes in some of the tiles that the old fittings left. I have measured the tiles (just over 4"x4") and cant seem to find a match in the local DIY sheds to just replace them.
I dont really want to re-tile the room as 99% of the tiles look fine so we were considering just using a filler on the old holes? any suggestions about replacing the tiles or if filling is an ok idea are welcomed.
Thanks |

Can't see any reason not to fill.
Not sure what the professionals would do, but I would fill most of the hole with silion sealent to keep it waterproof if in a shower/splash area then fill remainder with a decorators caulk, smooth level and touch up with paint to match. _________________ I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose. |
