Its a great site this....you post a picture and ask advice. Not only do you get the advice it automatically does the work Shocked ...incredible technology Shocked Laughing . I'm just waiting for the next picture with the plasterboard on.....I'll give it 5 mins!!

Hang on....this is a con....just looked at my kitchen, its still in a mess Embarassed

If I wasn't so tired I would of put the plasterboard on the ceiling as well Wink

I know why you don't want to remove the polysterene tiles, they are a pain in the butt to remove Bang Head

That's why removing the wood strips and filling is probably the best option, infact see if you can get some more tiles and just stick them in the gaps, then overboard the lot.
