Joined up yesterday to get some info about an event. Probably as many people on there as freinds reunited, and better still, its free to send a message. A bit more difficult to find people, but saves the £7.50 or whatever it is Freinds reunited charge!

How much info is shown up on Facebook? I've never been on the site.

Not a lot initially. Hence why its a bit awkward to find some people.
All i have is name, pic, and rough area. Like a lot of things, you can put in a little or a lot of info.
You cant see peoples full profiles unless your a freind, only the basic ones.

Friends Reunited seems a bit dangerous going by the amount of people who have caught up with old flames from like 20 years ago and left their current partners to get together again ..... Husband murdered wife's RAF lover

Somebody was talking about it on the radio the other day. I got the impression that future employers could see your info just by typing in your name!

There has been quite a bit of discussion about younger adults putting their exploits on facebook, and potential employers looking on facebook and similar in response to job applications and obviously seeing things that would be better not revealed

My boss has apparently just joined facebook so I had better watch what I say on there in case she reads it (especially the '10 things you hate about you job' poll )

Always good to keep a degree of anonymity on any on-line resource IMO
