I was always in the 'anyone-but-alonso' support group so the season ended ok-ish. It could only have been bettered if Webber won and wiped not only the smug grin off Vettels face (with that typical 'german' attitude to driving) but showed that, given the support, he could be world champion too.

Overall an extremely good season despite the opening-race boredom.

I like Vettel better than Webber, and hoped he would win over Webber. I think I'm the only one

Unfortunately Vettel is far too similar to Schummy - some might say that's 'good' - but I've never been impressed with the 'winning at all costs' attitude some drivers have. Vettel trying to run Webber off the track (and crashing) then having the audacity to blame Webber for it  ; Vettel running into Button and taking them both off.... I'm sure there are more examples. Shame is, Vettel is a very good driver and doesn't need to do these things!

It seems to be a very German thing.... the 'get out of my way, I'm better than you' attitude. Schummy played some very dirty tricks in his ascension to F1 stardom and I can just imagine Vettel doing it the same way.
