A bit backwards after getting posting on the forum but here's my hello.

I'm a medical engineer from gods country Yorkshire!!!!!
I've been involved with woodwork such as carpentry, lathe turning, joinery/carpentry since I was about 8-9 years old and learnt to brick lay at about 11 years old and welding too using stick, MIG, TIG and brazing. Metalwork and electronics came a bit later at about 12. Rebuilt my first engine at 14 years old, restored vintage guns and so on. I then studied a bit and left home. If you haven't guessed I'm a farmers lad.

I work for the worlds largest medical company as a biomedical engineer but at home my karma is achieved working with wood and in my workshop. I travel the world each year for work but can't wait to get back to my shop or visit my dads farm to get my hands dirty. If all was good and cheap crappy furniture didn't exist I'd be a tradesman making furniture any day of the week. Knocking on the door of 40 years old I've got a lot of experience with the above mentioned skills.

Giles.
(No that farmers name isn't a joke)
