I just looked at the screwfix cat on line and i see the evolution 3 210mm is on sale around 100 pounds, i am thinking of buying it the evo is very tempting.

People have asked about this saw on here several times before. If you search this site for 'rage' or 'evolution' you will find a lot of pros and cons for them as well as people who love them and people who find them less than perfect.
I don't regret buying mine (I have the 255 mm one) but I have found a few weak points on it.

PS. I paid about £170 for mine from screwfix about 18 months ago.

Yup its in the tool review section I think I have the ebuarer one, so far so good. Have used it a bit now. The 300 sliding range is very handy

I paid ~£150 for a sliding evo3 and am very happy with it.

Cut timber and threaded bar.
