Spotted this in the local newspaper:

http://www.dailypost.co.uk/news/north-w ... _page.html

Showing there has been 41 supernatural incidents reported to North Wales Police but I do like it when the police say there were “no reports of demons, werewolves, wizards or zombies" - phew!

We're not all completely bonkers around here

“Our advice to anyone who experiences an unexplained incident is to get in touch with people who have professional expertise.”

I wonder who they are? I live a stone's throw from Mannintree, where the Witchfinder General lived. If ever there was a professional, it was he. Towns would call on his services to sort out any witches living there. He'd find a number, of course. Then he'd torture them until they confessed. Then they would be hung/burnt at the stake and Matthew Hopkins would claim his fee from the town. Made a good living at it because he retired after a couple of years.

Seems to me there might be a good living these days if people still believe in witches. Torture has to be a bit more subtle, of course, but waterboarding should be sufficient.

Don't forget that there is shite stainless steel that is as cheap as you like and doesn't look good for too long and then there is higher grade which lasts for years and still looks new.

I rewired a house years back did all the cable runs and connections but had my electrician in to do the consumer unit. Had to do a two way with an intermediate to the HSL. Piece of piddle after 30 phone calls 2 minutes apart from each other lol.

Just had one of my electricians at my sisters house. New consumer fitted. Earth done for gas as there wasn't one. Cooker wired properly as the kitchen fitters just took a feed off the ring and whacked a higher rated fuse in. They had also lost one of the cables for the kitchen lights and decided to use the earths as lives ha ha. Must be one reason why they never issued a certificate. Kitchen was installed just as badly. Expensive kitchen too and apparently was a little job by there standards.

Haven't a clue how some of these w***k firms get away with it. Electrician she has been using for other stuff, wired some lights up in the loft for her.............Instead of clipping cables to underside of rafters the pr1ck has drilled 25mm holes through them!!!! He even knocked out some of the brick corbelling supporting the wall plate (M roofs) just to get a bit of trunking up the wall. Apart from the fact you don't drill out rafters what makes it worse is the roof was changed from slate to concrete without any extra supporting and strengthening being done.
