it doesn't take a genius to work out that 1 or 2 degrees off center it becomes unstable

I hope nobody was injured!

When something that big falls it can really do a lot of damage :shock:

No one hurt Chez, thanks VI, have forwarded that to out H&S guys, didn't make the news round here. But still very sobering. Showed it to my Contracts Manager today, we both decided we would run like f*ck and not come back. We costed the carnage at £1m per 100T lifting capacity, so that's a bill for £6.5m and a possible prison sentence.

I was working in Hull in 1978 (tunnelling) and our crane fell into a school playground, luckily, the kids were off school that week.
