Just knock two rooms into one for a bigger kitchen. I have bought Eight downlights, no transformer needed, and when the kitchen is done 3 undercabinet lights.
I was planning to daisy chain the spots from the existing light, but not sure about the cabinet lights. can i tee off from the existing lighting? |

I think the lights should in parallel, rather than in series, which is what daisy chaining will result in.
to acheive this, connect all the lives together, and all the neurals together, in the same place. _________________ www.hintonheating.com

| Always better to have the cabinet lights on a seperate switch to the main lights. If you can do it that way do. You might regret it later on if you don't! |

I agree with HH, in series, one bulb blows, all eight will go out, in parallel you will see exactly which one has blown. It may be worth considering splitting the lights further, maybe in pairs over work areas individually switched, Im just thinking of some versatility in the lighting arrangement. _________________ Stella Stella Stella oy oy oy |
