Hi guys, upon moving into my house three years ago the current elctric shower was knackered so on the advise of a local sparky we had a Triton Rapide 2+ installed. All was fine with it until the last few days where it has become unbearably hot no matter what setting you have it on. Is it knackered? We do live in Dorset and limescale is a problem in this area. Thanks in anticipation of your help.

When I was younger and renting, our shower suddenly became hot. Got put on the waiting list to be seen by the resident sparky. However, before he came round I found out the problem - my then girlfriend had turned the rotating part of the shower head which closed the cold water from coming out and only let the hot water out. Turned it back. Job done!

Doubt this helps you though Sad

Try this site

http://www.showerdoc.co.uk/shower-spares/triton/rapide2.html

It says theyhave a helpline for advice about your problem and can recommend the replacement part needed. got to be cheaper than a new shower i reckon
