Hi,

I am looking to add a small amount of dust extraction to my work bench and am hoping for some advice regarding the diameter & material of the tubing.

The dust will be extracted by my Nikfisk Multi 30T vacuum which has a 35mm nozzle. I am planning on running the tubing on the underside of my bench and having a non permanent connector to the vacuum.

I would like to use clear tubing & elbows etc. (so I can see if it gets clogged) but am unsure of the diameter and material of the tubing i.e. PVC or acrylic & what effects the diameter of the tubing makes on dust extraction?

My beech workbench is supported by 48.3mm scaffolding so I ideally would like the tubing to be the same diameter to keep it hidden, but I realise this might restrict the suction.

I will be extracting wood dust and chippings from my table saw and pillar drill.

Many thanks in advance for your help!!!

Stophen.
