Hi im new here, i found your forum when searching for help,
so...........firstly the toilet handle breaks new years day (night) so we have to flush it by hand until today when we went and bought a new handle which i fitted straight away, just before we went to buy the handle it decided it wont flush, so i thought maybe the handle would help but no................
anyway when searching to find out how to diagnose it i came across a video which suggested the "flapper valve" and so on further searching i came across a video on here about installing a dudley turbo 88 after watching said video i went to check and we have one installed already (now house is rented and so it isnt really our thing to deal with but we have to otherwise it wont get done) so how can i find out what needs replacing/servicing and where can i get the parts?
hoping you can help a woman in distress, thanks in advance :)

Any good plumbers merchant should have the part in stock..if not have a look at toolstation, though I think they only sell the whole unit, not the replacement mech you need..

Hi im wondering if this may not need replacing but something maybe needs adjusting?
i went to measure the outlet pipe so i could find the right replacement on line,
i thought id try once more and it didnt work, so i pushed the handle 3 times and managed to get a full flush (im glad about this because ive been flushing it with buckets) but obviously with 3 kids it might be too hard for them, soooo do any of you think something just needs adjusting? or would you still suggest replacing it?
thanks in advance for any comments/advice

Take it out and have a look, cances are the plastic on the bottom (thin celophane like bit) has perished, you could repair it but it will be simpler to replace the unit..
