In the bathroom I have a fake wall when you drill into there is just a big gap inside.

Now here i want to attach my Bath Screen to the Wall, and also some other accessories such as Mirror, bathroom shelf and possibly other types of Holders.

How do i do this bearing in mind that I have just put plastic wall cladding on and dont want to make a disaster of it.

Are there some special Drill hole plugs that are needed.

hope u can help

It would be normal practice to board the ply or put fixing in the wall prior to the plastic cladding.

There are a few cavity fixing on the market for lighter stuff

this is what ive got

http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav/nav.jsp?action=detail&fh_secondid=9295717&fh_view_size=6&fh_sort_order=1&fh_sort_by=_price_rrp_min&fh_location=%2f%2fcatalog01%2fen_GB&fh_search=bath+screen&fh_eds=%c3%9f&fh_refview=search&ts=1219155823260&isSearch=true

Someone people say that because the wall is hollow, that if the weight of the screen, means the fixings will just be holding it in place and not supporting it. so if its knocked could be damaged and even come away from the wall and bring cladding with it at some point.

Would this be the case no matter what fixings i used. seeing as i cant reinforce the wall inside. plus with the screen not being flush against the wall when in position.

I dont want to but seems scrapping this screen and just getting a curtain and rail will solve all problems, even if not look nice Crying

Snap toggles are good for fixing to plasterboard, These should do the trick-
