Hi all i have just bought some new straight drayton trv 4 thermostatic radiator valves with their respective lockshield valves. I already have some other straight trv valves that i bought before they produced a set. I would now like to buy some more lockshield valves to go with my existing straight trvs as the drayton ones seem to be at an angle not straight like the normal ones i can find. I have a part number from the packet and drayton tell me that the number is right for a straight lockshield valve , but there best hep as to where to buy from was try the wolsey group who when you ring give you no help at all. The part number i am after is 07 05 906 .

A picturer of the valve with the trv is shown below on screwfix

http://www.screwfix.com/prods/34063/Plumbing/Radiator-Valves/Drayton-TRV4-White-Chrome-TRV-15mm-Straight-L-S

I have posted this on diy not aswell, but nobody there seems to be able to help so posting here to throw it out there as much as possible in the hope of an answer.
Any help to track these lockshield valves down appreciated

Nick

That part no is not listed anywhere on the Invensys/Drayton website! Where did you get it from?

Did the TRV and lockshield come in the same blister pack or box with Drayton's name on it?

Hi , I bought a set of lockshield and straight trv4 valves from screwfix. The lockshield valve was in a sepperate bag inside the box and the part number was on that . i even emailed drayton and they confirmed that part number is correct for the straight lockshield valve. Typical hoovie a few weeks ago i would have bought them from you lol. never mind

As far as I know Drayton don't make a lockshield valve, I've certainly never seen one.

Get the Peglars Terrier 60203B for the best match.

They used to sell the TRV4 Radset, which consisted of two TRV4 bodies, one with a thermostatic head and the other with cap to turn in into a lockshield. The TRV4 body has a setting ring - you need a special box spanner - for adjusting the flow through the valve. They seem to have discontinued this although they are now selling RT212 Lockshield Packs
