hi all

My land lord ( housing association) is replacing the upstairs bathroom and kitchen

had the plastering lads in last week they dot and dab the bathroom and i am not very impressed with the work
the boards rattle in places as does the rebuilt windowsill

I can see behind them and some areas have very little adhesive

I also understand from googling that fire regulations stay that one side should be dabbed right the way across?

would i be right in saying as the bathroom in upstairs the bottom should be dabbed right the way across the bottom?

just looking to get my facts right before having a pop at the guys in charge tomorrow....the plastering guys made a right mess of my house
covered my decking in plaster ( have have had to scrub it that much the stain has come off)

personally i think the work they did was rubbish ( scrim visible in places and round door ways look rubbish plaster boards rattle in places)

Boards should be rock solid after being dabbed and basically the adhesive should be nearly solid all around the perimeter with plenty of adhesive throughout the whole area so there is absolutely no deflection.
Sounds to me like you are going to have a few problems
