Hi

I live in a flat and have an intercom system however the ringer isnt loud enough so I planned to wire a door bell to the system. I have found the power going to the intercom sytem and when I touch the terminals of the doorbell to this circuit the door bell chimes. However i want to door bell to chime when the intercom button is pushed. Any ideas how this can be achieved?

thanks

You will need to find where the existing buzzer is connected and connect in parallel with that, it is unlikeley you have got a terminal that you can just connect it too, What model/make is the handset we may be able to find a diagram and advise you better with this information.
