Got a couple of miss drilled holes in my new kitchen unit. If i were to use putty to fill the holes would stain cover it?

lol I aint got any wood stain yet. Was going to fill them earlier but thought id better wait until i knew if it would work

personally id buy a tube of colorfill for that assuming its not REAL WALNUT!

No its not real walnut. Going to test putty on something when i get stain from work and if it looks bad ill get some colour fill. Thanks for help

I'd use Brummer Stopping, only because I have different colours about 15yrs old.

You can mix it with stain to get the colour match.

Fill it with whatever and use a tea bag to stain it.just keep dabbing it a bit at a time until the right shade is achieved.Its a more natural look too.Try it it works a treat as does coffee.

Dont use putty as big all says it shrinks as it dries and it does not take stain.
