Pedestrians that don't look..........we were doing our normal 3 vehicle move on a job from Mosul Palace to Kurdistan and due to traffic being heavy we did the usual driving down the wrong side of the dual carriageway at high speed. Old girl stepped off of the central reservation into the side of the middle vehicle. Why don't people look properly before they cross.

Coming back into the Palace and it had been p155ing it with rain so the roads were flooded. Some chogi had broken down in one of the massive puddles that were a foot deep. sat in his car with the windows open. I was the last out of three vehicles to go past and drench him pmsl.

I used to love driving out there, really used to test the skills you have. Especially Mosul city and other areas where it was too dangerous to go static and wait for traffic lights to change to green. Thinking ahead and looking ahead as far as you could, especially as a lead or rear vehicle driver. We got the Palace to the Airfield down to just over 6 minutes which was a 16km journey through town. When we got the blue lights and sirens it made life a little easier.

Happy days, miss em. Wish I could ram a few drivers here lol or just shoot em.

My grandad got hit by a car going the wrong way up a one way street lol. I always look both ways. He fell down a beer cellar too as the loading doors were open ha ha. Must have been his age cos he survived the WW1 ok and the rest of his army career.

My pet hates include:- middle lane hoggers on the motorway. The ones that drive at 60-65mph and won't pull into the inside lane , even when they've got a country mile with nothing in it.
Cyclists, who cycle up the inside of your car at a set of traffic lights when you have a left hand indicator going. The lights change and guess what,,,, They want to go straight on, Motorcyclist's who seem to use any lane they want (specially coming up to traffic lights, then fail to notice that their on the outside of a line of vehicles all with right hand indicators on)
Seem to think their invincible.
Kids on these 50cc moped things (that sound like a demented wasp) When will they read the Highway Code ?? No signals, no looking, no nothing,,, only rev and go. :cb :cb
