A professional PR and marketing consultant who works for herself! :D

And I'm completely clueless to DIY but I give it a good go - even though him indoors doesn't like doing anything!

I fit my first door handle last week and was very proud! I'm slightly obsessed with my tool kit and I love my drill! Shocked

Thought I'd introduce myself!

Currently my two bathrooms are in a state so if anyone can help or point me in the right direction then please get in touch! :D

Hello right back at you! I'm currently trying to decide what DIY project I can sink my teeth into next!

I'm thinking of painting my hallway - learnt the hard way that you shouldn't use matt emulsion in high traffic areas!!! Plus I'm trying to find a radiator cover that will fit my radiator there - but nothing will fit!! Crying

How are you? Laughing

Hi Snowbugs,

welcom to the forum - everyone is clueless at the start, so just ask away and I am sure you will get some clues Laughing

Thanks Hoovie! Really?

You mean - if I stick to this forum I'll be fitting my own bathroom in no time at all????

Is it easy to do?? Can you just about put your mind to anything? I've got someone who can tile for me for cheaps. A mate.

But I'd really love to rip everything out myself and have a go - even though I have absolutely no idea where to start!! :D

SnowBugs

Look through the "A-Z Contents" at the top of the page, it has lots of information related to bathroom fittings removal and installation!
Thumbright

You know, Snowbugs - if you can wield a drill and that kind of stuff, take your time and ask the right questions when you are not sure, then yes! no reason why you can't fit your own bathroom Thumbright

Hello one and all! I don't reckon him indoors would let me do the bathroom! Ha ha!

All the main bathroom needs is the taps replacing and the bath needs reinstalling!

The complicated bits are hiding pipes behind walls and things like that! :D
