So after managing to get the dishwasher to eventually take water it now won't empty. But, if I turn it off and leave it a while it then reset it, the water drains and it starts a new cycle and washes right up to where it has to drain off, then 2 lights start to flash.
Any of you clever people have any ideas?
Many thanks

The thing is a DW is a white goods appliance, long gone are the days of "a motor and a few cogs" there is much more to white goods than it appears, in short for the help you need you don't need an electrician but a person who fixes white goods everyday.
I would suggest you try the white goods forum (under maintenance till 09:00)
